On Wednesday, 4 December 2019, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, Namikių village, on the Kavarskas–Taujėnai–Vadokliai–Ramygala regional road (kilometre 14.80), an Opel Astra Station Wagon ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Opel (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, there was freezing rain, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
