On Tuesday, 17 October 2017, in the afternoon at 16:29, in Trakų district municipality, Miglinų village, on Pušyno street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 and a Volkswagen Caddy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
