On Sunday, 2 February 2020, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Aristava–Kėdainiai–Cinkiškiai national road (kilometre 18), a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (15 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
