On Friday, 14 February 2020, in the evening at 21:10, in Kaunas, on Žemaičių pl. near No. 19, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel and a BMW 5er Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Opel (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
