On Wednesday, 5 February 2020, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kretingos district municipality, Vilimiškės village, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja main road (kilometre 24), a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
