On Wednesday, 26 February 2020, in the afternoon at 16:27, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Rumšiškės–Tadarava national road (kilometre 6.58), a Mercedes-Benz E 220 CDI hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
