Unlicensed Audi driver hits an obstacle on the Vilnius-Švenčionys-Zarasai road
On Thursday, 27 February 2020, in the evening at 22:52, in Švenčionių district municipality, on Vilniaus street, at the junction with Strūnaičio street, an Audi S8 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
