Drunk, unlicensed Ford Transit FT driver runs off the road in Pakalniškių village
On Sunday, 1 March 2020, in the afternoon at 14:34, in Kauno district municipality, Pakalniškių village, on the Lapės–Boniškiai–Puikoniai regional road (kilometre 6), a Ford Transit FT 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.02‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
