On Saturday, 14 March 2020, at night at 3:30, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 48.50), a Mercedes-Benz 1844 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
