On Tuesday, 24 March 2020, at night at around 1:00, in Telšių district municipality, Kaunatavos village, on Sodų street near No. 56, an Audi A3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.95‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
