On Thursday, 9 April 2020, in the morning at around 5:00, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Onuškis–Butrimonys–Punia regional road (kilometre 19), an Audi A6 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (0.55‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
