On Monday, 20 April 2020, in the evening at 17:08, in Vilnius, on Kalvarijų street near No. 335, at the junction with Jeruzalės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
