On Wednesday, 13 May 2020, in the afternoon at 12:56, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 170.45), a collision with barriers occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Pajero, a Scania and a Schmitz Cargobull. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
