On Saturday, 16 May 2020, in the evening at 22:05, in Vilnius, on Žirmūnų street near No. 64, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ssang Yong Kyron and a Skoda Fabia Combi. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Ssang Yong (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.35‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
