On Sunday, 31 May 2020, in the evening at around 18:00, in Alytaus district municipality, Miklusėnų village, on Alytaus street, at the junction with Bočių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Legacy and a BMW. One person was injured — a 17-year-old passenger of the Subaru (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Subaru (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
