On Friday, 5 June 2020, in the evening at 22:10, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr. near No. 89, a Mini Cooper hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 30-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mini (20 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
