On Tuesday, 9 June 2020, at night at 0:01, in Kauno district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 75.30), a DAF ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the DAF (6 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.92‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
