On Friday, 12 June 2020, in the morning at 10:50, in Ignalinos district municipality, on Aukštaičių aklg. street, a Volvo XC60 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volvo, who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs. He evaded sobriety testing, had no driving licence and fled the scene.
