On Monday, 15 June 2020, at night at 0:14, in Varėnos district municipality, Paversekio village, on Versekos street near No. 23, a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
