On Sunday, 31 May 2020, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr., at the junction with Kaunakiemio street, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
