On Tuesday, 16 June 2020, in the morning at 9:14, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 18), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Volvo FH12, a BMW and a Dennison -. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Volvo (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
