On Sunday, 5 July 2020, at night at 2:50, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on Vasario 16-osios street near No. 9, an Audi A6 hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 23-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
