On Monday, 6 July 2020, in the evening at 18:24, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on Žaslių street, at the junction with Gedimino street, a Saab 9-5 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the Saab (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. A 42-year-old passenger of the Saab was drunk (2.21‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
