On Sunday, 2 August 2020, in the afternoon at 16:50, in Šilalės district municipality, Girsteikių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 223.50), an Opel Astra hit an obstacle.
