On Wednesday, 12 August 2020, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Seda–Židikai national road (kilometre 3.60), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and an Opel Signum. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
