On Sunday, 16 August 2020, in the evening at 19:30, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Kalesninkų village, on Parko street near No. 17, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a car and a moped. Two people were injured — a 6-year-old passenger of a moped (hospitalized) and the 38-year-old driver of a moped (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of a car (13 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
