On Tuesday, 18 August 2020, in the evening at 17:07, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Šaukėnai–Vaiguva–Kalniškiai regional road (kilometre 2), a BMW 318 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
