Unlicensed driver's Subaru Outback rolls over on the Balbieriškis–Žagariai–Kirmėliškės road
On Wednesday, 26 August 2020, in the afternoon at 14:25, in Prienų district municipality, on the Balbieriškis–Žagariai–Kirmėliškės regional road (kilometre 7.40), a Subaru Outback rolled over. One person was injured — a 17-year-old passenger of the Subaru (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Subaru, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
