DAF FT XF truck hits an obstacle on the Panevėžio aplinkkelis road
On Thursday, 17 September 2020, in the evening at 18:15, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžio aplinkkelis main road (kilometre 22), a DAF FT XF 105.460T registered in Poland hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the DAF (27 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
