On Tuesday, 29 September 2020, in the evening at around 19:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Paraseinys–Alėjai–Lioliai–Kelmė regional road (kilometre 0.02), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Volkswagen Touran. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Opel (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.23‰ blood alcohol). A 24-year-old passenger of the Opel was drunk (0.98‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
