On Friday, 16 October 2020, in the evening at 18:41, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 19), a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
