On Friday, 23 October 2020, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 228, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and a Mercedes-Benz E 220 CDI. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
