On Wednesday, 2 December 2020, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 6.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus, a Citroen C4 Picasso and a Ford Galaxy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Ford Focus (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
