On Friday, 11 December 2020, at night at 0:10, in Vilnius, on Geležinio Vilko street, at the junction with A. Goštauto street, a Lexus RX400h hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Lexus, who failed to choose a safe speed. He evaded sobriety testing and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
