On Saturday, 12 December 2020, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Virgainių village, on Žemaičių highway near No. 25, at a railway crossing, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Volvo FM7. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Volvo (17 years of driving experience). He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
