On Friday, 25 December 2020, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Šilalės district municipality, Klabų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 213.70), a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the BMW (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
