On Sunday, 3 January 2021, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Kaunas, on Šiaurės pr. near No. 75, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Espace and a Peugeot 207. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Renault (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
