On Thursday, 7 January 2021, in the afternoon at 16:40, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 125), a Scania R 164LA hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Scania (28 years of driving experience). All drivers were sober.
