On Thursday, 7 January 2021, in the evening at 22:39, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Janušava–Dabužiai–Troškūnai regional road (kilometre 5), a Bashan registered in Great Britain rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Bashan (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
