On Monday, 11 January 2021, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Šilokų tak. near No. 9, a Nissan Primastar hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Nissan, who committed other traffic rule violations. He refused a sobriety test and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
