On Tuesday, 26 January 2021, in the evening at 21:35, in Šilalės district municipality, Kadarių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 236.50), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
