On Friday, 29 January 2021, in the afternoon at 16:22, in Kelmės district municipality, on Lakštingalų street, at the junction with Rasos street, an Audi A4 registered in Denmark rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Audi (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.04‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered.
