On Tuesday, 9 February 2021, at night at 1:25, in Raseinių district municipality, Sujainių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 183.25), a MAN TGX ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the MAN (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was a blizzard, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
