On Thursday, 11 February 2021, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 50.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Touran and a truck. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
