On Saturday, 13 February 2021, at night at 23:10, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr., at the junction with Pramonės pr., a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.04‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 26-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (1.44‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
