On Thursday, 25 February 2021, in the evening at 20:10, in Šilalės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 209), a Volvo FH hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Volvo (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
