Unlicensed driver's Peugeot rolls over on the Lukšiai–Kalbutiškės–Dusetos road
On Friday, 26 February 2021, at night at around 23:00, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Lukšiai–Kalbutiškės–Dusetos regional road (kilometre 5.20), a Peugeot Partner registered in Ireland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
