On Friday, 12 March 2021, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl. near No. 32, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C3, a Volvo and a DAF FT XF105.460 registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Citroen, who violated overtaking rules. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
