On Sunday, 28 March 2021, at night at around 2:00, in Kauno district municipality, Dievogalos village, on Kelmyno street near No. 15, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Galaxy and a Honda Civic. One person was injured — the 36-year-old driver of the Honda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to keep a safe distance. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. The 36-year-old driver of the Honda was drunk (0.92‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
