On Friday, 2 April 2021, in the evening at around 20:00, in Vilnius, on Ateities street, at the junction with Fabijoniškių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 and a BMW 320. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi (11 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.99‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
